SocketLabs is looking for a highly motivated sales development representative to support our senior account executives. Our ideal candidate is a team player as well as a creative and strategic thinker. Open to change and excited to be a part of a growing, scaling company.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic & senior sales reps on inbound & outbound efforts and strategies.
- Effectively research, conduct needs analysis, & set appointments for sales reps.
- Attend calls with prospects; handle the handoff/introduction to the sales rep.
- Attain and exceed all sales goals by setting appointments with qualified leads through phone calls, emails, and other methods.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in HubSpot.com.
- Leverage database tools for lead generation.
- Attend sales and product training and develop proficiency in SocketLabs, as well as a basic understanding of the cloud-based email infrastructure industry.
Ideal Candidate
- New business generation through cold calling experience strongly preferred.
- Flexible and adapts to change easily.
- Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our customer business needs.
- Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment.
- Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas and handling rejections.
- Must have a positive attitude, confidence, and desire to be the best.
- Experience with HubSpot.com is preferred.
- Aspirations to grow career as a Senior Account Executive
- 4-year college degree is highly preferred.
- 2-3 years sales experience (indoor sales, business development, etc.)
- Greater Philadelphia area preferred.
